I moved to Krebs in 2008 to be an assistant in Special Education. After one semester I moved into a 4^th grade teacheing position.  I taught  4^th grade for 10 years and then another two years as the  4^th and 5^th  Grade Science teacher. In 2021 I took early retirement and moved to Dallas to teach. That career was short lived! I decided to return in 20223 to my passion as a teacher at Krebs. I taught 4^th and 5^th Science last year and will be teaching 5^th Grade Math and Science this year!  I am so excited to continue teaching in this wonderful school I spent so many years in!

I started my teaching path in 2004 as an assistant in 2^nd grade. My teacher suggested this would be a great career for me, so I achieved my alternative certificate. I was an assistant another three years in 4^th grade at Tannehill before moving to Krebs.

I am the proud mother of two sons! Matt, who is 28, lives in Cushing, OK but works out of Midland,  TX and owns Kelley Trucking company.  Blake, at 24, owns a striping, sealcoat and asphalt company named Kelley Asphalt based in McAlester. I have a very feisty 11 year old cat named “Tigger” and two granddogs, a black lab called “Bow” and a french bulldog named “Beanz”. I absolutely love reading and taking walks!

I am a huge fiction reader and enjoy mystery books by Grisham, J.Patterson, Baldacci and M.Connelly.  I do my best to stay fit and enjoy a good walk or run.  I love dog sitting and travel any time I can!
