Hello, My name is Peggy Johnson. The 2024-2025 school year will be my 32 year at Krebs Public School, teaching first grade and I am still loving it! 

I graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. 

I am married to a wonderful husband, Gerrick Johnson. He is director of Transportaion at Choctaw Nation, and a former student of Krebs. We have been married for 32 years. I have 2 terrific children. A daughter, Jennah who works in Henrietta as a medical assistant and is married to Gabe a new officer at Okmulgee police dept. I have a son, Jaiden who works for Choctaw Nation & married to Barbara, she is a wonderful daughter in-law, I am so blessed. (Both my children are former Krebs graduates, so I have lots of Krebs Pride!).

I enjoy my time home with my fur baby, Ophelia, a Border Collie. I also enjoy quilting, machine embroidery, sewing, photography and reading books.

I am really looking forward to teaching your child this year. First grade is a very important year where your child will learn many new skills that will help them succeed in the future. Parent involvement is essential this year, so please feel free to visit with me during the year to discuss your child's academic progress, concerns or problems, We must work together to achieve a common goal!
